Cream Of Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 large onion, diced
1 1/2 ribs celery, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of ground pepper
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 c. flour
8 c. chicken or turkey broth
2 c. cooked wild rice
1 c. half and half
Preparation

Melt butter.
Saute onion, celery and mushrooms until crisp. Stir in flour.
Slowly add broth. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Stir in wild rice and half and half.
Blend in salt and pepper.
Continue cooking over low to medium heat for 1 hour.
