Ingredients

1 lb. ham steak (1/2-inch thick)
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp. honey
pinch of ground cloves
Preparation

Let ham soak in milk, turning once, 15 minutes.
Drain and rinse.
Pat dry.
Whisk remaining ingredients.
Brush ham lightly with sauce.
Broil under preheated broiler (1-inch from heat), 4 to 8 minutes until top lightly browned.
Serve with remaining sauce.
