Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/4 c. plain flour
2 oz. red food coloring
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Fold creamed
Crisco,
sugar
and eggs. Make a paste of cocoa and red coloring.
Add to mixture.\tMix salt and vanilla with buttermilk.
Add alternately with flour to other mixture. Mix soda and
vinegar
together and pour into mixture. Do not beat this. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
