Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix well the cornmeal, flour, baking soda, baking powder and sugar.
    Add buttermilk and blend well.
    Add shortening and blend. Add egg and blend.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 in lightly greased 8-inch cast-iron skillet until brown.
