Mushroom Almond Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. beef bouillon
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sliced almonds
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Preparation

Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter or margarine until tender. Add rice and continue cooking until golden.
Add bouillon and pepper.
Stir well.
Heat to boiling.
Cover pan.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Saute almonds and mushrooms in remaining butter or margarine.
When rice is tender, add almonds and mushrooms and toss lightly.
