Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 qt. cider
    1 tsp. whole spice
    1 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
    2 sticks cinnamon
    1 orange, sliced
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in crock-pot.
    If desired, tie whole spices in cheesecloth.
    (If spices are loose, strain before serving.)
    Cover and set on low for 2 to 8 hours.
