Ingredients

3 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. finely chopped onions
1 tbsp. garlic
4 c. tomatoes (1 qt.)
4 c. tomato paste
1 tbsp. dry oregano
1 tsp. dry basil
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 -2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Saute finely chopped onions and garlic in the olive oil. Add the remaining ingredients and slow cook for approximately 1 hour.
