Cherry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
4 c. pitted sour cherries
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pastry.
Mix sugar and flour together.
Mix with cherries. Turn into pie pan. Dot with butter and sprinkle extract on top.
Cover with top crust.
Cut slits in crust. Sprinkle with sugar. Cover edges of crust with aluminum foil. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Makes a 9-inch pie.
