Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
chocolate chips (desired amount)
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy, then beat in the eggs.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and pudding mix.
Gradually add this to the first combination.
Stir in the chips and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets and bake 8 to 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
May use butterscotch mix and chips.
