Wet Bottom Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 round tsp. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. King syrup
    1/4 c. gold Brer Rabbit syrup
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. boiled water
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Crumb together flour, shortening and brown sugar.
    Set aside 3/4 cup crumbs.
    Add syrups, egg, water and soda to remaining crumbs.
    Pour into 10-inch pie shell.
    Sprinkle with crumbs over mixture.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0, then 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
