Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/3 tsp salt
    2 c. apples, cut fine
    1/2 c nuts
Preparation
    Beat eggs thoroughly and gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt, and fold into the first mixture. Add apples and nut meats, cut fine. If desired a dash of cinnamon may be added here. Place mixture in a well greased pie pan and bake
    350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes. Serves 5 to 6 people.
