Far East Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 oz. pkg. iceberg lettuce mix
8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
11 oz. can Mandarin oranges
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 lb. snow pea pods, lightly steamed
3 oz. can Chow Mein noodles
3 Tbsp. Soy sauce
2 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger*
Preparation

Wash and dry greens.
Combine in a bowl with drained water chestnuts, drained oranges, onions and pea pods.
Combine Soy sauce, vinegar, oil, sugar, and ginger in a jar with a lid.
Shake well.
Pour over salad and toss.
Stir in noodles just before serving.
