Linguine With White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. olive oil
4 to 6 gloves fresh garlic
3 (6 to 7 oz. each) cans chopped clams
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 lb. linguine
1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation

Heat oil in pan.
Press garlic and cook until golden.
Add clam juice from cans; add salt, pepper and thyme.
Let simmer very slowly.
Add clams.
Cook linguine.
Add parsley to sauce about 5 minutes before linguine is cooked.
Drain linguine and mix all together.
Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese, if desired.
