Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 slices whole wheat bread
    1 lb. sausage
    6 eggs
    1/2 pt. half and half (1 c.)
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Trim crust from bread slices and butter one side.
    Place in bottom of baking dish, buttered side down.
    Cook sausage and drain.
    Spoon over bread.
    Salt and pepper according to taste. Blend eggs and half and half in blender. Pour over sausage.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Remove cover last 10 minutes.
    Very good served for breakfast or brunch.
