Easy Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    3 egg whites
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    1 lemon
    butter (size of walnut)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together well.
    Pour boiling water over this, stirring well.
    Mix egg yolks, salt, juice, grated rind of lemon and butter to sugar and cornstarch mixture.
    Boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
    Cool for a few minutes.
    Pour into a baked pie shell.
