Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
3/4 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
Preparation

Choose 5 green peppers of uniform size and which will stand upright.
Cut slice from stem end and scoop out seeds and membranes.
Parboil about 2 minutes in boiling water; drain thoroughly.
Stuff with this mixture:
Saute onion and tomato in butter until onion is slightly soft.
Add corn, salt and ground beef and heat to bubbling.
Stuff mixture into peppers and top with bread crumbs.
Place peppers in a buttered shallow baking dish.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until crumbs are toasted and stuffing is hot, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Makes 5 servings.
