Beans With Apples And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean pork bulk sausage
    3 large Granny Smith apples, cored and thickly sliced
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/3 c. brown sugar (vary amount to taste)
    28 oz. can pork and beans
Preparation
    Brown sausage in skillet, stirring to break into chunks. Remove meat.
    Pour off excess grease if any.
    Saute apples and onions in sausage grease until browned.
    Add sausage and sugar; cover and continue cooking until tender.
    Add beans; stir, heat and serve.
    Can also be heated in a crock-pot or casserole. Serves 4.
