Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped red or green onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    9 slices crisp-fried bacon, crumbled
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook peas using package directions; drain.
    Cool.
    Layer lettuce, green onion, celery and peas in 9 x 12-inch dish.
    Spread with mixture of sour cream and mayo.
    Top with crumbled cheese and bacon.
    Chill, covered, until serving time.
