Greek Cheese Pie (Tyropita) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Feta cheese, crumbled
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    8 eggs
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 lb. (16) filo pastry sheets
    salt and white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light and creamy.
    Fold into combined cheeses. Season to taste.
    Place 8 pastry sheets in buttered casserole dish.
    Butter each sheet with melted butter.
    Pour cheese mixture over filo dough and cover with 8 more buttered pastry sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cut into squares and serve warm. Serves 6.
