German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 potatoes (purple work best)
1 bouillon cube
1 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 sweet or dill pickles, diced
2 Tbsp. diced onion
2 Tbsp. salad oil
salt and pepper
Preparation

Boil potatoes in their skin until tender.
Peel and slice into large bowl while still hot.
Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water. Add sugar, vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
Stir and pour over the potatoes while they are still hot.
Let stand for several hours.
Add diced pickles and onion; mix well.
Add oil.
Serve cold.
Serves 4.
