Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 lb. cheese
Preparation
    Boil cabbage 10 minutes.
    Put in baking dish and cover with sauce of melted butter, flour and milk.
    Add cheese to sauce and pour over cabbage.
    Put buttered bread crumbs on top and brown 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
