Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. oatmeal
    2 Tbsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. sugar
    2 qt. boiling water
    2 pkg. yeast or 2 cakes
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    14 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients together; let cool.
    Mix yeast, sugar and water together.
    Set for 10 minutes and then add to the first 6 ingredients.
    Add flour a little at a time.
    Turn out and knead. Let rise to double in size, punch down and rise again.
    Put into pans and rise.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
