Crusty Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat the milk, water and margarine to 120\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, yeast and salt.
    Add milk mixture and beat well with mixer. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough.
    Knead for 5 minutes.
