Sally'S Refrigerator Veggies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sliced cucumbers
    sliced onions
    sliced squash
    sliced bell peppers
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. white vinegar
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Layer cucumbers, onions, squash and bell peppers to fill wide-mouth gallon jar.
    Mix rest of ingredients together.
    Stir syrup until dissolved, then pour over veggies layered in jar. Refrigerate 2 weeks, then ready to eat.
