Maple Sweetheart Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. ladyfingers, split
    2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 c. \"real\" maple syrup
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    dark brown sugar and whipped cream for garnish
Preparation
    Line sides of 9-inch spring-form pan with ladyfingers. Sprinkle gelatin over water in small saucepan; let stand 1 minute. Stir over low heat until gelatin is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.
    Bring maple syrup in heavy saucepan to a boil; continue boiling until it reaches 230\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
