Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine (don't use butter)
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (18 oz.) jar Smuckers apricot preserves
Preparation
    Cream margarine.
    Add sugar and flour; stir in coconut and nuts.
    Press 3/4 of the mixture into a 15 x 10-inch ungreased pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    After 15 minutes, remove from oven and spread 18 ounces of apricot preserves over crust. Crumble remaining mixture over the preserves and bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
    I usually have to keep it in for 30 minutes.
    These are super the next day.
