Easy Italian Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    8 slices cheese
Preparation
    Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic until brown; drain.
    Stir in sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
    Heat to boiling, stirring, and reduce heat.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Grease 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
    Mix Bisquick, milk and egg.
    Spread half in pan.
    Top with 4 slices of cheese.
    Spoon beef over cheese.
    Top with remaining cheese slices; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Drop remaining dough by spoonful onto cheese and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
