Open Faced Tuna Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (6 oz.) light tuna in water, drained & flaked
    1 c. chopped unpeeled apple
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 slices bread, toasted
    4 thin slices (2 oz.) Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine tuna, apple, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice and pepper.
    Spread on bread.
    Top with a cheese slice.
    Broil about 4 inches from the heat for 4 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Yield:
    4 sandwiches.
