Monterey Jack With Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. macaroni (2 c.)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    12 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to package; drain.
    In saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
    Stir in flour.
    Off heat, stir in milk, keeping smooth.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and boiling.
    Spread 1/2 cooked macaroni over bottom of buttered 2-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cheese. Layer with remaining macaroni.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Pour hot sauce evenly over top.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
