Bonnie Butter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
3 c. cake flour or 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs (1/3 to 1/2 c.)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 2 layer pans (9 x 1 1/2-inch).
In a large mixer bowl, mix the butter, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Beat 5 minutes on high speed, scraping the bowl occasionally.
On low speed, mix in flour, baking powder and salt alternately with the milk.
Pour into the pans.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool.
