Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. select oysters
    3 sleeves crumbled crackers
    5 to 6 Tbsp. softened butter, cut into 1/2-inch pats
    1/2 to 3/4 c. light cream
    kosher salt
    cracked black pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0. Grease baking dish, 11 x 8 x 2-inches. Crumble crackers in large mixing bowl. Combine with oysters to include liquor. Add softened butter and light cream until fully incorporated. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bake, covered, for approximately 30 minutes and then, uncovered, for an additional 10 minutes.
