Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (No. 2 1/2) cans pork and beans
3 large onions, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 bell peppers, chopped
2 hot peppers, chopped
6 ribs celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 can applesauce
1 can tomato paste
3/4 can tomato juice
1 lb. sharp cheese, cubed
seasoned salt and pepper to taste
ham cubes (optional)
bacon strips
Preparation

If time permits, place ingredients in casserole
or bean pot, topped with bacon strips and cook 4 hours at 300\u00b0.
If time is short, saute all fresh vegetables in seasoned fat.
Add all remaining ingredients and cook at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Do not cook too dry as juices will thicken some when removed from oven. Yields 12 to 15 servings.
