Sweet And Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. chicken
    1 egg, beaten with fork
    1/4 c. cornstarch (in bag)
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can chunk pineapple
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 medium green pepper
    1/4 c. water
    1 can carrots
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 c. hot, cooked rice
Preparation
    Fry chicken and set aside to drain.
    Put the vinegar, sugar, leftover pineapple juice and water in pan; stir constantly until it boils.
    Add pineapple chunks and carrots.
    Pour over chicken and rice.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
