Ginger Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses sorgham
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp soda
    1 tsp ginger
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp clove
    1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg, molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add all together. Form into 1 in. balls and roll in granulated sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 12-12 min.
    They burn easily, don't over cook. If dough is too sticky, put in regrigerator.
