Chicken Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 1/2 c. salt
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Remove skin and extra fat from chicken.
    Boil chicken in mixture about 50 minutes or until done.
    Stir in cornstarch and water to thicken; serve.
