Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. finely chopped cabbage
    2 tsp. minced onion
    water
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Place cabbage and onion in saucepan.
    Add enough water to cover cabbage.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and cook until fork-tender.
    In another saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add and stir in flour.
    Blend well.
    Gradually add milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook and stir mixture over medium heat until it thickens.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Drain cabbage mixture.
    Add and stir the cabbage mixture into seasoned sauce. Heat to boiling and serve.
