Blueberry Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening, melted
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
2/3 c. orange juice
1 c. fresh blueberries (or frozen)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Mix in eggs, milk, orange juice and peel.
Stir until blended.
Gradually stir in flour until blended.
Fold in blueberries and nuts.
Spoon batter in pan. Bake 1 hour or until done at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan, greased and floured.
Cool; wrap in foil overnight before icing.
