Corn Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. Gold Medal flour*
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups. Blend all ingredients about 20 seconds.
Beat 1 minute.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake 15 minutes; immediately remove from pan.
Makes 12 muffins.
