Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1 slice white bread, crust removed and cubed
Preparation
    Mix egg and milk; add dry ingredients and cubed bread.
    Make into 1 oblong dumpling about 8 inches long.
    Let rise 1 hour under large mixing bowl.
    Put into boiling water and boil for 10 minutes in covered kettle.
    Turn and boil for another 10 minutes.
    Cut with a knife or string.
