Puffy French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix together flour and dry ingredients.
    Blend milk with egg. Add to flour mixture and beat until smooth.
    (May refrigerate overnight.)
    Dip bread into batter and fry to golden brown on both sides.
    Yields 8 slices.
