English Muffin Loaves(Makes 2) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 c. flour (spoon lightly into cup)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    corn meal
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat liquids until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add to dry mixture and beat well.
    Stir in enough flour to make a stiff batter.
    Spoon into two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch bread pans that have been greased and sprinkled with corn meal.
    Sprinkle top with corn meal.
    Cover; let rise in warm place for 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans immediately and cool.
    To serve, slice and toast.
    Keep refrigerated.
    Can be frozen.
