Anna'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter (2 sticks)
5 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. cake flour, sifted 3 times
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
Alternate milk and flour (include when sifting baking powder and salt).
Cook in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
