Thumbprint Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    jelly
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour, vanilla and salt.
    Chill. Shape into 1/2-inch balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar.
    Indent with thumb and fill with jelly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until jelly bubbles.
