Randi'S Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    3 c. uncooked oats
    1 bag (12 oz.) Ghiradelli Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy and lightened in color (about 4 minutes). Add vanilla and egg, mix on low speed until incorporated. Stir in oats. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for chewy cookies, 10 to 11 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet; remove to wire cooking racks. Store in tightly covered container.
