Dilly Casserole Bread - cooking recipe

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. dry minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Soften the yeast in the water; set aside.
Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.
In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese with sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt and soda.
Add the flour slowly, beating well after each addition.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (50 to 60 minutes).
Stir dough down and turn into a well greased round 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish.
Let rise in a warm place until light (30 to 40 minutes). Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes until golden brown.
Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with garlic salt.
