Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. thin round steak
    2 sweet peppers
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 or 2 onions
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions in oil.
    Add garlic salt, ginger and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add peppers and cover.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Mix cornstarch and soy sauce.
    Add to ingredients.
    Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add 1 can Chinese vegetables, if desired.
    Serve over rice.
