Veal With Green Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. veal, cut in 1-inch cubes
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. brandy
    3/4 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 c. heavy cream
    1 pkg. spinach noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Brown veal in butter in ovenproof skillet.
    Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Cook until onion is tender.
    Blend in flour.
    Add brandy and ignite.
    When flame subsides, add broth.
    Cover; bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Add mushrooms, water chestnuts and cream.
    Stir until blended.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Serve over hot noodles.
    Serves 6.
