Festive Broccoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sliced green onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped pimiento
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove tough ends of lower stalks from broccoli; wash broccoli and separate into spears.
    Arrange spears in a baking dish with stem ends toward outside of dish; add water.
    Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on High for 7 to 8 minutes or until tender; drain.
    Combine onions and butter in a microwave dish; cook, uncovered, at High for 2 minutes.
    Stir in pimiento and remaining ingredients.
    Microwave, uncovered, at High for 1 minute.
    Pour onion mixture over broccoli before serving.
