Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 onion
    1 c. bread, chopped
    1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat up egg and add to meat.
    Mix in onion and bread.
    In separate bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
    Add this to meat mixture.
    Add milk (first 1/4 cup); mixture should be wet.
    If too dry, add more milk.
    Roll into very small balls and brown in frying pan.
    Add water to cover meatballs and simmer 30 minutes. When meatballs are done, thicken remaining water with cornstarch or flour for gravy.
