Walnut Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 can cream or Carnation milk
3 tsp. cornmeal
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. flour
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
3 egg yolks
pecans or 1 oz. walnuts
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together (cornmeal, sugar, salt and flour). Beat 6 egg yolks, then stir in vanilla flavor, cream and margarine. Beat on 3 speed.
When finished mixing all ingredients together, then put in pie shell.
Cook pie shell for 9 minutes on 400\u00b0, then put in ingredients.
Put nuts on top of mixture, then cook on 425\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
